X200 keyboard problem

#1 Post by ngonamanhbvn » Thu Aug 26, 2010 11:50 am

My X200 laptop appears to have a mistake in its keyboard.

When the machine is starting up, I see the following message right after the Bios screen:

Error
0210
Stuck key 5D
Press F1 to setup

And also when I am using it, the computer sometimes show the thing like when we click on right button of the mice, even I do not touch the laptop.

When I replace other keyboard ( from other X200), the laptop work perfectly.

Can any one give some help about this problem? Do I need to ask for warranty in this case?

My laptop is in world-wide warranty time and I now live in Newcastle, UK.

Thanks for your help.

Replacing the keyboard would seem like the next step. If it's under warranty, they'll send you a new keyboard. Otherwise you can probably get one on ebay.

Thanks Fred,

Do I need to bring my laptop to somewhere for checking or just send them the email and wait for the keyboard?

My guess would be if you call them, they'll send you a keyboard.
