Thanks,
Mikael

Sounds alike a rather common question among X200/x201 owners. ...

I do hope someone out there known of a way, and willing to share with us.

the possible ways a laptop can output DVI when he doesn't have a DVI connection:
-through the docking connector
-through some sort of expresscard adapter
-through a VGA to DVI/hdmi/displayport adapter (not really a cable, it's some sort of apparatus).
-through a USB to DVI adapter

the first one is impossible without a dock, and the second one is very hard to find. so, that leaves two options. the VGA to DVI has the advantage of using the on board video card of the laptop, the USB device is actually a videocard of it's own, so that gives better graphics performance, but the USB device costs about half the price of the VGA to DVI. So, the choice is yours: price or quality!
