When I plug in my phones (UE Triple Fi 10vi) it happens (not every time), that laptop is note responding correctly.
It does not switch of the speaker, and I have no sound in the phones, only hiss.
I've reinstalled audio driver, but it doesn't help :/

Have you tried other headphones?

If I've not tried other phones, I must have been stupid to wrote the post as above.
I've tried it. Several phones and speakers. I've also eliminated the possibility of cross malfunction by connecting them all to at least two other devices.
I'm pretty sure, that's the X200 wich is malfunctioning.
I'ts kinda annoying caus I 've buyed it less than two weeks ago.
I've dismantled it already and I'm not sure that my warranty is still valid.
And yes, I'm pretty sure that I didn't mess up anything inside.

The X200 has an audio sub-card (I/O card). It could be defective.

Well, if you were messing in the area of the I/O sub-card, reseat it's connector. I'd guess you need a new card though. You could also try a little electrical contact cleaner spray in the headphone port (with battery and power removed). Let it dry!!!

I've checked the ribbon flex connector. It sits securely in place.
I'm almost certain that it's the problem with headphone jack alone, because the sound, right USB and SD card are working properly.
I'll try with the spray.

Some news about my broken (?) audio:
1. few days ago it started to work. just like that. I did nothing at all.
But it stopped working after two days or so...
2.I've tried all available drivers, I've even reinstalled the system. Only thing I got is very quiet and distorted osund from the speaker, I have nothing at my phones right now.
The noise is responding to volume levels.
Will the service center void my warranty if they notice that I've taken x200 apart? (there are marks on the screws)

If it is under warranty...they will fix it. Make the call and don't try to fix it yourself. Save that process for when it goes out of warranty.

It is under warranty.
I hate to give my stuff to anyone for fixing.
In this case however, I have to admit that this is beyond my skill.
BTW: sound is working. After shutting the laptop down for a night it suddenly started working again ...
I'm curious for how long...
