I have a ThinkPad X201. I need to do a "clean install" of Windows XP. I need the AHCI (SATA) driver to put onto a floppy disk. I can locate the AHCI driver on the Lenovo site as a ".exe" file. But, I need one that can be extracted to a floppy. Does anyone know where I can find an AHCI driver that can be extracted to a floppy.
Many thanks.

Well, you run the exe, which should extract the files to a location on your C drive as a sub-folder of /Drivers. Then copy those to a diskette. Hit F6 when prompted during the XP install routine to feed it drivers.

Intel makes the AHCI drivers available for an F6 installation:

That should fit you surely.
