Hi All, would like to share with you on this:

1)This gentlemen in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KY9km7kCLVo# is apparently holding a x-series tablet with a screen that is FLUSH with its bezel.

2) another video showing apparent different panel, where most video on youtube are http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeGP_qfZYCI

3) comparison http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/2020 ... el9oct.jpg

4) or could it be a screen protector merely :(

Anyone could verify this further? Is it possible it is just one of the 3 different panel available (pen only, capacitive multitouch + pen , outdoor viewable + pen only) ? or maybe its a new outdoor viewable + multitouch + pen ^___^

Sorry for doing damage to your eyes

Cheers,
jv

the frameless display came out with the X200T.   you just don't see many out there since it's pen-only input.   most people opt for either the multitouch or outdoor viewable panels.

here's a high-res photo: http://www.lenovo.com/shop/americas/con ... T_side.jpg

(my X200T has this display, btw)

Thanks erik.
I thought it is a x200t with "framless" screen but there's a tiny touchpad so should be x201t.
My T60 1951-CP2 is giving up on me, not even a fresh system can bring it back to old time smoothness.
Been torned apart by the HP 2740p and x201T option, but finally decided to go for x201t as i'm SPOILED by thinkpad build quality! And its keyboard too :D

yeah, the X201T has the same frameless display option at the X200T.

for tablets i've had the X61T with superview SXGA+, X200T with enhanced multi-touch, and now the X200T with frameless display.   the first two attracted fingerprints like crazy.   the frameless display is very good about controlling them.   i've owned a lot of thinkpads through the years and my current X200T is one of my all-time favorites.

the X201T was a great choice.   i'm sure you'll be happy with it. :D
