IE9beta? Google Chrome? on X201T w Multitouch?

Dear Group,

I was wondering if anyone has tried IE9 beta on an X201 tablet.

This is my first post in this subforum since purchasing a few X201 tablets. I use an R50p, a T61p, a W700 all on a regular basis, but I recently added a few X201T computers for use in my office as input devices for electronic health records. I really like the machines, but I find the 1280 x 800 resolution a bit cramping. My staff members fine 1280 x 800 or 1024 x 768 okay, but I am used to the 1600 x 1200 resolution on my R50p.

Anyway, I am running IE9 beta on my T61p and I really like it. I like how fast the browser loads. I like using the address bar as a search bar. I like the huge area available for the pages. Since trying IE9 beta on the T61p, I've added Google Chrome to the W700 and the X201T to get some of the same features without the risks involved in loading a beta IE browser on a work machine.

From my experience today, it seems like the multitouch scrolling works better with IE8 than with Google Chrome. With IE8 on the X201T, I can use my finger to move pages up and down to read this forum or New York times articles. With Google Chrome, I highlight text instead of move pages by using my finger the same way.
