X200T Screen Replace: Reuse Digitizer?

Hi Everyone,

My sister has a X200T and she recently cracked the glass. She tells me the glass has a few piece that are about to fall off, but the screen is fine with no discolorations and the pen still works. I'm wondering if I can just replace the screen and reuse the digitizer from the original screen. I'm not sure how the pen functions works, and I'm wondering if anyone can give me insight.
