SSD Question: Bought an X201

Hey Thinkpad folks,

I bought an X201. Finally. I've been pining over the decision for the last few months. I'm excited and I'm told it will ship on the 15th of this month.

But to my point ... I'm swapping the intel X25 m (Generation 2, 80GB variety) from my T60p (8744) to my X201. I know about the SATAI limit in the T60 and the theoretical maximum of SATAII.

My question is what actual drive speeds are you guys getting with SSDs installed in your x201s? It would be fantastic if a fellow X25 m owner could chime in.

Thanks very much!

I don't have X25-M, but X25-V.

I am using the modified BIOS for my T61 (the modified BIOS unlocks SATA-II capabilities on T61).

Read speed ~ 154MB/s

Thanks Frank. Most appreciated.

I installed the X25-m in my X201.
