#1 Post by lgiuser » Wed Nov 10, 2010 10:15 pm

Hi

Am trying to downgrade to xp sp3 but got one missing audio driver
Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus

It detect 3 missing audio device and the website only have 2
- Conexant Audio Software
- Modem

What's the other missing audio that is not listed on the lenovo support page. i called them and they also do not know.

I saw one of the articles
http://www.thinkpads.com/forum/viewtopi ... 43&t=86735

but the link is no longer working within for the audio device.

Can some one please help me for this driver?

Thanks alot!!!

Run device manager (WinR, devmgmt.msc), then go to properties of that device with missing driver, switch to "Details" tab and post here what "Hardware IDs" does it have.
Lifebook P1032 (1024*600 8.9") => Averatec AV1000 (WXGA 10.6") => Kohjinsha SH6 (1024*600 7.2") => Sharp M4000 (WXGA 13.3") => X200-AFFS, dead => X200s-AFFS, later -PVA => X220 4290RV5 + Intel 310 80GB, T420s 4173KSU + FHD IPS + Sandisk Z400s 128GB

Man, I finally found the driver.

To those who require it just download the video driver from lenovo. extract it, then install your video driver.

Once done point the unknown audio driver to the same video driver path but look for the folder named as "ibxHDMI" to install it.

Managed to find it after some hints and looking around! Why wasn't it installed during the video driver installation is anyone's guess...
