Should I uninstall APS in X301 with SSD?

#1 Post by domi » Tue Dec 28, 2010 3:54 am

I currently have the latest version (1.72) of Active Protection System installed in my X301 (running 64-bit Win 7 Pro). I'm using the Samsung 128 GB SSD. Has APS any purpose in a TP that features an SSD rather than a conventional hard drive? If not, can I / should I uninstall it?

yes you should uninstall since it serves absolutely no purpose for SSD drive.

It is useless for SSDs. You can uninstall it.
