Hi. I have the X300, came with Verizon WAN built-in, I use it all the time. Is there a way to upgrade this to Verizon's latest 4G?

Thank you

Yes. I think some companies are announcing their 4G/LTE hardware at CES right now.

did anybody hear anything, or does anybody know if it will be possible to swap out the Verizon WWAN component inside my x300 and insert an updated Verizon 4G WWAN component?

You just have to wait for the hardware to be released. Verizon has barely started flipping the switches on their LTE hardware.

I saw some announcements that Qualcomm is releasing some LTE and HPSDA cards, some of which I think were on display at CES. The press release I saw mentioned some USB devices that would contain 4G radios, I assume some miniPCI card versions will be out before the end of this year.
