Brightness not working upon waking from sleep

I recently did the windows update to W7 64-bit SP1 and one problem has transpired. I put my X200 to sleep and when I resume the brightness hotkeys have no effect. There is no OSD nor any visible changes in brightness while pressing Fn+brightness up or down. I am consistent in my updates thru "Lenovo update and drivers" and Windows Updates so I'm thinking that SP1 has caused this dilemma.

Is there anyone else who has noticed this problem?

Had it occur to me a couple of times with my T410, but I haven't noticed any consistent pattern.
