Does the x220 tablet feel a lot bigger and heavier than the x220? Also, if I wanted to highlight/annotate PDFs and other docs on the screen of the x220 tablet would that be possible? Thanks.

Tablets, in general, are a bit heavier than their non-tablet counterparts due to the tablet parts. I've not seen the X220t, but my X200t was not in my opinion significantly heavier than my X200. I would expect the same of the X220t, a bit heavier, but not hugely so.

Yes, the X220 weighs less than 3lbs, and the X220t apparently weight 1.76kg or 3.88lbs. (coming from
here.)
I would think any kind of note-taking and annotating would be possible, tablets are designed with things like that in mind.

Thank you both. Quick, naive question-- Can one use the x220t in tablet mode (ie. with pen or finger) without using the swivel feature. In other words if one wants to keep it locked into the keyboard can one alternate between using the keyboard and the pen?
Thanks.

Yes you can use the pen at any time.
