How much does warranty extension for X220/X200 cost?

How much does warranty extensions usually cost for the X220/X200?
It cost $55 to add 2nd year basic warranty right now but I think I have seen people getting pretty good deals on the extension warranty
Should I add $55 for 2nd year basic right now or wait till they have some deal on warranty extension later?
