X220 with 6-cell battery stable on the desk while typing ?

I've noticed that the 6-cell battery sticks out down about 5 mm (see photo on NBR) making the left part of the notebook "flying" above the desk. Is it rock-solid stable on the desk while typing ? It looks like it can cause a noticeable flex.

Ditto - solid as a rock. My first time with a TP keyboard - very impressed. And with the trackpoint!

OMG! I hadn't notice such detail... yes the left rubber foot of the X220 is in the air! I can pass a 3mm booklet underneath, the support is carried by the battery rubber foot which rests a little more than 90mm from the left edge, so this part of the laptop is cantilivered. However the built is so strong that when you apply pressure on the corner very little flex is observed. As for typing you won't ever notice this structural detail... That talks a lot of the built quality of this extraordinary machine!

I have noticed a problem of my 6cell x220.

since there is not a holder at the left upper side of the laptop but the support is from the battery which is about 3-3.5cm from the corner, the laptop leans to left upper side and this causes a mm hold at the right lower side of the laptop. So the laptop is actually not stable on the desk. Does anyone else have this issue? If yes, how did you resolve it?
