Could you specify what you mean by "my powerplan is applied"?

When You open lenovo power manager, you can see powerplans there and I made myself custom powerplan. When I will restart my system the laptop is on maximum performance not on my own powerplan. After around 10 seconds later my powerplan is applied. I found out that this is rapidboot fault. It somehow delays it.

How do you check which powerplan the system is using?

It could be that PowerManager is not run at startup to decrease the boot time of the system and therefore the powerplan is enacted after some time has elapsed. Try checking msconfig and see if PowerManager is set to start with the system.

Its more likely that one, or more, of the power management services is set to Automatic (Delayed) start. You'd need to look in the Windows 7 Service Manager for that.

With all the fast boot approaches, there is pretty much always some tweaking of services onto delayed start as part of the trade off to getting a shorter time to desktop experience.

Cheers,

Was wondering if anyone had applied some tweaks to make Power Manager run the currently selected power plan sooner in the boot cycle?
