Hey guys,

I just joined, and I have a specific issue, someone brought in a x220 4286CTO with liquid damage and they need the palm rest replaced (as well as some other stuff)

Well I have forund all the other parts on lenovo's site, except the palm rest, when I look it up in the parts list they do not list a palmrest for the CTO, any ideas? Or am I just losing my mind.

Any help would be appreciated.

There are only (3) FRU numbers for X220 palm rests -

Palm rest assembly with fingerprint reader - 04W1410
Palm rest assembly without fingerprint reader - 04W1411
Palm rest assembly with fingerprint reader and mSATA - 04W1770

I can't imagine that the Palm rest assembly with fingerprint reader and mSATA is any different from the one without factory mSATA except for a sticker. Any X220 can run an mSATA card, so that is the only reasonable explanation for the difference.
