x201i, thinking about buying

#1 Post by BootSectorVirus » Mon Sep 05, 2011 5:53 pm

Anyone know what a X201i (3249-J3C) is worth, I have an opportunity to buy a used one in very good condition, this model was sold in Japan market, trying to get an idea of a fair price range.

I assume it will support a 64bit OS?

i3-330M(2.13GHz),
2GB RAM,
320GB 5400rpm HD,
12.1in 1280x800 LCD,
Intel HD Graphics,
Intel 802.11bgn wireless,
WWAN option,
Bluetooth, Modem,
1Gb Ethernet,
UltraNav,
Secure Chip,
Fingerprint reader,
Camera,
6c Li-Ion,
Win7 Home Basic 32bit

Thanks for looking.

this spec, i don't think it should cost more than 500 dollars if it is in A condition. 400 dollars is what i am willing to pay (if i was in US) for this machine spec.

Sort of what I was thinking, they are asking $500, I found a very similar unit on eBay for $650, brand new, so $400 is more reasonable.

Thanks for your input.

The i3 offers about the same performance as the Core 2 Duo X200. The X200 might be an option if you want to broaden your choices.
