Instant Resume blanked out and very slow coming out of sleep

When I first got my X220 it would come out of sleep within 4 seconds, even after a long time.

Now it takes ages. I also notice that the instant resume feature is blanked out when I right click the Thinkpad power manager battery icon. Has anyone had this experience and are there any solutions?

Thanks

Update: I have just installed Intel Rapidstore drivers and this seems to have improved the wake speed. I will keep this thread updated on this.

Update 2: False alarm. Still slow waking up if lid closes more than 5 mins and instant resume has mysteriously blanked out since yesterday despite resetting Power Manager to default settings :-(

You have to set the Lid Closed to Sleep or Hibernate in Global Settings, to have Instant Resume available.

I have this issue too, since I updated to the last BIOS (1.21) when I close the lid the computer is going to sleep but after few hours it hibernates and when I open the lid I have to turn it on and it takes a lot of time to wake up ( I have an Intel SSD and 8GB of RAM), I think it's because of the last BIOS
