x220 docking station compatibility

Hi,

I am still working with my loved x31 but plan to switch to a x220 now. I want to have a docking station for my x220. However, my girlfriend has got a R500. Does someone know any docking station that takes both R500 and x220?

It seems that the R500 ended before the x220 was on market, so I can't find a docking station that fits both. However, i have found a docking station that supports both R500 and T500. Is it save to assume that R500 and T500 are the same with respect to docking stations?

R500 and T500 should use the same, as should X200 and X201. If X200 and X220 are compatible (I don't know) then it is possible. Of course, the better option (opportunity) may be to upgrade your girlfriend to a new W520 that you will also get to play with.

The R500 is two model generations prior to the X220.... there is no docking station that will mount both a R500 and an X220.
