I have two questions:

1. How can I access BIOS?
I have tried pressing Del, Esc, F2 etc during boot logo but nothing happened.

2. Powered USB port.
Stupid question but what does that actually mean? How is it different to other 2 usb ports? Can I set it to give power even when laptop is switched off to charge my mobile phone for example?

I answer to myself:

In BIOS there is a switch to enable charging a mobile phone when lap top is switched off.
How ever it didn't seem to work with my Nokia E7. I don't know if that has nothing to do with X220 because my universal 800 mA usb charger charges all other gadgets like iPad2, navigators and headset but it also won't charge my Nokia E7...

Update: All other gadgets get charged when X220t is switched off. Only E7 has a problem.

You might have to enable USB always on in the ThinkVantage Power Manager too. In my version of Power Manager for another ThinkPad (T61), it's the second tab from left, translated from German the tab might be called "Global Power settings" or similar.

It is enabled already.

I might need to express myself more clear:
The offline charge works perfectly now. Nokia E7 just seems too picky and won't get charged
