Secondly, how is the concept going? I remember you said Javie was trying to find a different solution than kingkonglue's sacrifice of the DP port.

It's always happier to live in lies and delusions.
as i just bought my first 2 thinkpads, a t430s and a t430
i would like to jump in this screen upgrade wagon
I have been reading the forums for all FHD related threads.
i have some questions
as far as i understand the FHD kit could let you install a 1080 full HD screen
so whats the difference of the WQHD kit? is it the same as the FHD kit? i think i read that it supports the same screens :
1920*1080 B140HAN01 B140HAN01.2 B140HAN01.1 LP140WF1 SPK1 SPU1 B140HAN01.3 30pin
RMS, any details on how was the flicker removed, DC backlighting or boosted into the KHz range?
Former: X61 T8300 [Slow GPU] | W510 FHD QM [Top screen but 16:9 sucks] | T420s [Portable but worst LCD ever] | X201 | X200 | X60T [Slow & hot]
