T420s Power issue

I have a T420s and whenever it is unpluged and turned off it seems to lose charge. If I have a full charge and turn off the machine with no power attached it drops by as much as 15% within a few hours. If unused over a few days it will run down to 50%. I have tried different power settings and cannot find anything to solve the problem. Is this normal. The fingerprint sensor shows a green LED when the machine is off. This is a wake funtion I cannot seem to disable.
