After hours and hours of reading and research, I finally came to the conclusion to go with the Patriot Pyro SE 120GB in my ThinkPad T410. The price is $189 with a $40 rebate to make it $149 final price. While on my way to the store, I changed my mind at the last minute and went with the Corsair Force GT 120GB. I have installed the system recovery dvd, deleted the new restore partition, and extended my C: partition to include the rest of that space. I have done about 10-15 rounds of Lenovo updates and Windows updates. All I have to say is, WOW! The SATAIII drive does really good on the SATAII interface. The WEI score went from 5.9 to 7.6. I was hoping to peg the scale at 7.9, but you have to get the T420/T520 with the SATAIII to get that.

The drive already came with the latest firmware available, 1.3.3, meaning it was manufactured within the last two months. Hopefully a drive built this recently will have all the bugs worked out! So far so good, ecstatic! If you have been thinking about this upgrade, DO IT! There is only so long that you can go on saying "I want to wait until the prices come down."

I myself got the Force 3 240gb for my T520. The Force GT version of this drive was $120 more, and I couldn't justify it. After rebate I paid $269. A steal in my opinion for a sata3 240gb.

So far I have had no issues either. Everything runs well, so fast it's unbelievable.

I have been running a Corsair Force F-120 in my T510 for about the past year with no issues. One program you might want to checkout is SSD Life, this program will report the remaining life of your drive down to the day it is expected to finally fail.

On my T520 I have been trying to swap the original 500GB HDD with a Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD without success.
The only way it boots from the SSD is by using it in the Ultrabay adapter (ThinkPad Serial ATA Hard Drive Bay Adapter III). I played with UEFI and reinstalled the OS a few times, lately using Windows 8 Enterprise.
Any idea why it would not boot on the internal SATA connector?

Well, let's make sure we check the obvious stuff first. In the BIOS, AHCI is enabled, correct? In the BIOS, the boot order is set to use the SATA that the Force GT is plugged in to first, correct?

I think you have to install the OS to it when it is in the bay you want to keep it in. Did you install the OS when the SSD was in the UltraBay?

Also, check the obvious, AHCI in BIOS (which is usually already set by default). Then check BIOS boot order. See what hitting F12 gives you.

What message do you get when it doesn't boot?

I think that Windows is putting the 100MB boot partition on your old hard drive. Try reinstalling the OS to the SSD when it is the only drive connected to the internal SATA.
