1066MHz vs 1333MHZ memory for T500

I have a T500 with 4 gigs of ram and a 2.8o GHz process. I'd like to install the maximum ram, which I believe is 8 gigs (2x4). I'm trying to choose between these two and I'm not sure which to buy:

* 8GB Kit (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-10600 1333MHz CL9 Non-ECC 512Meg x 64 Unbuffered SoDimm SAMSUNG Memory

* 8GB Kit (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-8500 1066MHz CL9 Non-ECC 512Meg x 64 Unbuffered SoDimm SAMSUNG Memory

It seems like I should buy the 1333MHz because it's faster, but I've seen threads saying to buy 1066.

Thanks!

As long as the timings are the same, buy the cheaper of the 2 I think the 1333 is going to be cheaper.

While the 1333MHz can certainly support faster speeds than the 1066MHz memory, the T500 doesn't go there, it can only support the 1066MHz level. However, using more capable memory, with otherwise identical specifications, is just fine, especially if it costs less.

Furthermore, in the event you wind up with a T520 for example, you can always move the RAM over there, without degrading its performance.

Thanks. FWIW, the costs are (surprisingly) the same. I'll buy the faster.
