Want to buy T400 with high nit display

I work outside all the time. I love my laptop, and it's foundering. I really need a replacement/backup T400 with the high nit screen. I cannot believe they discontinued this! I feel like so many people are interested in it; what were they thinking?

Please contact me if you have one for sale or if you happen to know a reputable place where I could buy one.

I really need the Lenovo full size keyboard so the X series is not an option for my plagued with carpal tunnel hands.

FWIW, the current T*20 and X220 models share the same "full size" keyboard. The IPS display on the X220 is very "bright".

I really like to work in direct sunlight. It's too cold here in the shade. I've heard the NIT on the X220 is nowhere near as good as the T400.

I dont' understand why Lenovo got rid of the high NIT; it seems like a lot of people would liek it back.

I'd pay a lot more for the high NIT screen. I'd pay anyone here a finder's fee if they find me one.

Another possibility would be to buy a T400 and swap in the high nit screen, which you can probably get on eBsy. You might wanted to make a WTB thread in the marketplace forum here too.
