Lenovo T420 compatible with NEC PA271W-BK-SV ?

I am unsure whether I can connect it to my T420.

The NEC and T420 both have displayport connectors. The displayport does 2560x1600 on the T420. It should work via the displayport, but I don't have any practical experience as I have neither.

Yeah, I saw the Displayport - the resolution freaked me out though. I couldn't find that resolution listed as a valid resolution with my display adapter.

Any ideas where else to look to find all supported resolutions by the adapter?

The GPU can certainly drive that resolution if that's what you're concerned about...
