Swapping the motherboard of a t420s into a t410s body?
Is it possible?
I looked at the t420s and it looks just the same as my computer.

I don't have any experience doing it, but it seems unlikely as the T420s uses a 16:9 aspect ratio LCD while the T410s has 16:10 LCD. That makes the T420s wider than a T410s. Plus the ports aren't the same, which complicates things.

But if I were able to get that to work regarding the ports.
What do you mean 16:10?

It refers to the shape of the screen. A 16:9 screen like the one on the T420 will be wider and shorter than the 16:10 screen offered on the T410s. Because of this, the dimensions of the case will differ, making swapping the boards more complicated even if you can get the ports to line up. The ports are very different. I don't know how one would go about getting it to work, but if you can get it work, more power to you. It seems like a lot of work for a modest bump in performance. Unless you need top performance I doubt you'd notice a difference between the two. You might be better off selling your T410s and getting a T420s if that's what you want. Laptop motherboards are not that cheap.
