I purchase a
433710U THINKPAD MINI DOCK
It came w/ a 90W adapter.
I also purchased a 90W adapter for my laptop bag.
Thinkpad (T520) came with a 135W adapter.
Is there any reason why I shouldn't use the 135W adapter with the dock?
Most of the time, that's where I will park the thinkpad to use/charge it.
If the 135W will work with the dock, then I didn't really need to order an extra 90W adapter, but it probably isn't a bad idea to have a spare.
I just want to make sure there isn't some design issue with the mini dock that causes an issue with the 135W adapter.
Thanks for comments.

Re: Simple Mini dock question
Interesting question. I have the 433820U which is the Mini Dock Plus Series 3 for Mobile Workstations which came with a 135 watt power adapter. Sounds like that might've been the perfect one for you vs. the dock with the 90 watt adapter.
Since your T520 came with the 135 watt adapter, I assume it's a quad core model? You might find additional information here: http://forum.lenovo.com/t5/T400-T500-an ... m-p/581657.

Re: Simple Mini dock question
Yes, it's quad core - i7-2860QM
It seems to run and charge on the lower watt brick just fine, but I'd rather use the higher watt brick for the dock as long as it isn't a design issue.

Re: [solved] Simple Mini dock question
I went ahead and tried, figuring if there was an issue, they would made different connectors.
The 135W adapter works with the mini dock just dandy.
