T510 - Instant off without AC adapter

I have a T510 that works perfectly as long as I have the AC adapter connected. The second I take the AC dapter out the whole unit shuts off. I have tried several different batteries. When I plug the AC adapter in I get a solid green light on the laptop indicator. Any ideas?
