When will t520 not be available through Lenovo?

Talked to a customer service rep at Lenovo, I have a feeling he may be telling me this just to buy but he says the t520 will no longer be available on their website after this week. Was thinking to buy the 520 so I can save money by not buying top of the line 530 and to keep the classic keyboard. Also, it was disappointing to read forum posts on that forum that discuss how the new thinkpads aren't built the way my t60 was (makes sense based on price) so will take that into account when deciding how many upgrades I should make or even maybe to just update/fix certain things in my t60.

http://outlet.lenovo.com still has T410/T510/W510 models today, nearly two years after their introduction, so I suppose you will be able to find T520's there for at least another year. The prices are often quite good via the Outlet (models are either new, returned or refurbed).

Second the recommendation on the outlet. They often have new units as well (for example a few days ago there were new T410's and T410s models for around $500). I've purchased a few of my machines there as well as for family members and I know a bunch of friends who have as well.

Just be sure to copy the specs of what you buy when you buy and keep them for reference to compare to what you get.

Thanks for the advice, but any idea when they may not be available through Lenovo just in case I don't want to risk there not being an outlet deal with the exact specifications I am looking for?
