I would like to format the computer, uninstall and install the OS again.
How can I do that not using a usb or an optical disc?
On my older laptop, an acer, there was a program that easily coordinated all these things, and I thought Lenovo might have one of those too but can't find it.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.
How to restore back to factory default on T520
Re: How to restore back to factory default on T520
Assuming your recovery partition is still intact, you should be able to initiate this by pressing the blue ThinkVantage button next time you boot the computer. It will then boot off of the special recovery partition on your hard drive, and walk you through restoration of the main partition. (I'm presuming your goal is to restore the machine to factory-original state?)pjw901015 wrote:I would like to format the computer, uninstall and install the OS again.
