Any reason?....
I want someinformation also on fanless cooling pads.
Apperently they use some fancy chemical packed inside a pad.How effective is it?.
Can I make such a cooling pad myself if i get the chemical locally...

Are you using tpfancontrol?

Have you checked the temperatures of the CPU Vs. Hard drive. If the heat is specifically in the hard drive area, your drive could be going bad, but you would need to check the individual temps first to make that determination. You can use a free program like OpenHardwareMonitor.org to check that.

I've never heard of this fanless cooling pad, not sure what kind of voodoo it uses to remove heat. I like the Cooler Master NotePal U2 and NotePal U3 because you can adjust the position of the fans so that they are blowing in at the right spot.
