However, if I leave the machine for a couple hours and come back, it can take up to 2 minutes to resume from sleep and longer from hibernate. Most of the time it doesn't take quite that long, but 30 seconds is still too long to come out of sleep. The machine boots faster than that.
Has anyone experienced this? I suspect a driver issue as I have used the same drivers on all the reinstalls. I RMA'd my Crucial M4 as I was having firmware issues, and I thought it was causing this behavior. Now I have a 128GB Vertex 4 and well.. here we are.
In event viewer under Diag-Performance there are lots of entries about the delays, and lots of things saying "this driver responded slower than expected..." for ACPI and USB, and a couple more for Intel Graphics and Conexant audio.
I know I must be overlooking something.. Let me know what you guys think.
