NVIDIA oscillating between IDLE and OFF

Hi Folks,

NvOptimusTestViewer64 shows that my discrete graphics chip is oscillating between IDLE and OFF every second or so. Anyone else have this issue? Seems like it shouldn't be doing that, and I don't remember it behaving this way in the past.
