T420 Integrated Mouse sensitivity - can it be adjusted?

I have a new ThinkPad T420 that I have been using for a couple of weeks and I would like to disable or reduce the sensitivity of the integrated mouse on the keyboard. Each time I am typing in various applications the mouse will react to my keystrokes and bounce away from where I am on the screen. Perhaps I hit the keyboard too hard as I type? If anyone has an idea, I would greatly appreciate it!

Any chance you're touching the touchpad while you're typing? I've never seen the TrackPoint triggered by vigorous typing, with the exception of misplaced keystrokes for the 'G', 'H', and 'B' keys.

Yes you can adjust it.

Hit the Start button on Windows 7 and type in "Mouse" in the search bar. Go into the mouse settings. The last tab at the top will say UltraNav. Open that tab and select the Settings button inside the Touchpad box. Disable Tapping to get the mouse to quit making inadvertent clicks. Under the Smart Check settings, there is Palm Check. Slide the bar over to maximum.

I am not able to find the UltraNav settings at all. Under Control Panel, I can only see HID-Compliant Mouse and PS/2 Compatible Mouse, but nothing to do with the Touchpad. Am I missing something?
