Hi,
I owned a unit of T420 4236QS0.
This model has a "Display Port" with it, however, so far I haven't find a way to use it.
To be honest, I really do not know what I can do with this Display Port.
Could someone please kindly advise me what I could do with it?
TIA.

Connect to a monitor that has a DisplayPort input.

There are adapters that go from DisplayPort to anything, take your pick, HDMI, DVI-A, DVI-D, VGA. It can also output to a monitor with resolution of up to 2560x1600. Just about all executive class laptops use DisplayPort. If you wanted something different, then you have consumer class choices such as the ThinkPad Edge, HP ProBook, or a Dell. I do not mean to sound like a smartass, but you could check out
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Displayport or do a web search if you do not know what a port is for.

Well looks like it has not much uses since I understand from the forum that T420 cannot support 3 display simultaneously.
The LCD Display + existing VGA port should be good enough for most cases. Besides, I could hardly find any Display convertor / connector to HDMI or DVI-A / D over here!
Thanks for the feedback!
