Guys,

Im thinking of getting t420s, but the critical condition for me is to be able to plug in Sierra Wireless MC7710,

I know that its not on the whitelist, but lets just assume that I can patch BIOS and actually make it work, will be possible technically to plug in Sierra Wireless MC7710 into t420s?

Is there a slot for it? And are there enough antenna cords for it as well?

I've seen some screens and it seems that Wi-Fi card is using 3 antenna cords and there are only 2 spare whereas MC7710 requires 3 antenna cords?

Could someone clarify please.

Cords are seen here - http://www.notebookreview.com/shared/pi ... sp?f=58673

Many thanks in advance !

If you are looking for LTE support, you need to make 100% sure that the MC7710 card actually works with whatever LTE service you are thinking of connecting to, BEFORE you go any further.

LTE is not yet anywhere near the stage of maturity UTMS interoperability of devices, so a device just having the appropriate band coverage DOES NOT mean it will connect to any arbitrary LTE service provider on that band
