Should I install ThinkVantage System Update?

Hi Folks,

I've been having some driver issues recently, and have gone about updating a bunch of them. I've found that I haven't been keeping up to date, though i do subscribe to the RSS for driver updates for my model. So, I'm thinking about trying System Update. I used to use it in my old T43, and it was buggy. I've heard similar stories from others. Has it gotten any better? Would you recommend my using it to stay up to date with drivers?

Lenovo used to have a page that listed driver updates by date. They got rid of that, and hence it's much harder to stay up to date now. How do you all stay up to date with drivers?

thanks!

I use System Update; after all, you can choose what to update and what not to, and it's easier this way than to uninstall, download specifically and install. Never had a problem with it.

Absolutely! I've always used System Update on my T410 to keep current. Never had a major problem with it. :)

In fact, that reminds me...

I like System Update. It's not perfect but it's pretty good.
