T420s Optimus and Samsung TV issue

My setup: My T420s sits on a docking station and is connected to TV via a ds's Displayport to HDMI adapter + HDMI cable which plugs into a Samsung TV. Now, when I turn the TV off all is peachy but when I turn the TV back on I hear that sound from the system when you plug/unplug USB. The picture does come back on TV but the sound only works through laptop speakers and not TV's. To bring back sound on TV I must physically plug/unplug the Displayport from ds. Installing newer nVidia drivers didn't help.
This purely an nVidia issues sinse I had a T420s with Intel only videocard and this wasn't a problem at all. Any ideas on how to solve it?
