T400 graphics driver issues

#1 Post by Lumen » Fri Mar 29, 2013 5:23 pm

Hi everyone,
I recently bought a refurbished T400 from eBay, I got type 2768, the one with both Intel and AMD graphics, and I performed a clean installation of Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. I am having problems with the AMD drivers since it makes everything a bit blocky and pixelated, especially gradients. I have the latest drivers installed from the AMD and Intel website. Is there any solution to this problem? If it's a driver issue can someone give me a link to an older more stable driver version?
And also, I am having 2 displays in the control panel, is that normal? Does it have something to do with switchable graphics?
Thanks...

Have you downloaded and install the drivers from Lenovo's website? Thinkpad Vantage Update is useful for this.

Thanks guys, I installed the drivers from the Lenovo site but it didn't fix the problem. At least I found how to actually switch between graphics so for now I'm ok. I will give a go at that system update app. Thanks a lot!
