T/W500 display frame broken. Any change of repair? *PIC*

Hi T'padders
A while ago I got a W500 with a cracked screen. Unfortunately the magnesium frame was broken close where the left hinge sits, see the pictures below:
I've checked Ebay and there is hardly a magnesium frame to be found for a decent price (and for a seller that ships to Switzerland). Is there any change to fix this? (Welding, gluing, whatever?)
Cheers!

You might wanna bid on this auction:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lenovo-W500-15- ... 1e79f4b517
Ask the seller if he could ship to Europe.
Sellers will ship international most of the times if you ask them to.
It might cost you an additional 10 Euro.
Or just go too the Marketplace here in the forums and look for a screen assembly.
I wouldn't recommend gluing or any other repair, since it will most likely break again sooner or later.
Viel glueck!

I really love the W500
However, this is sadly a very common problem...!
Best regards

It's a really sleek and nice machine, the last of its kind... The next gen W510 changed to 16:9
The bid above is over, I asked the seller if he will ship to Switzerland but he did not answered my email...

That would worth trying, do you have experience with this type of fixes? The crack is very close to the hinge, I'm afraid it will crack again when trying to open/close the lid
