Sorry if this has been posted, but I did take a quick look around and cannot find the answer...and its 4AM :(.

Anyway Thinkpad T410, Win 7 Pro 64 bit. Clean new install of Win 7, downloaded all the drivers from Lenovo and also direct from Intel. I cannot get the screen resolution above 1280x1024. Yes, my t410 has the WXGA+ so it can do the 1440 and it worked just fine before I did I clean install. Intel HD graphics and it also keeps defaulting to thinkpad 1280 display. I have tried disabling and removing the devices, drivers, etc. I just cannot seem to figure this out. Any help is much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!

Sorry that you are having trouble.

If you haven't already done so I would download, install and run Thinkvantage system update.

My T410 is configured the same as yours and I can get 1440x900 resolution. What driver version do you have in Device Manager for the Intel HD Graphics? Mine is ver 8.15.10.2622 dated 01/10/2012.

Also, when you look at the monitors section in Device Manager, does it say, "ThinkPad Display 1440x900"? My driver info for the Display is ver 5.1.0.0 dated 03/11/2013.
