T500- I can't move my cursor using touchpad or trackpoint

Hi, I'm having a big problem getting my touchpad and trackpoint to be recognized (nothing in device manager). I don't think I have USB power either as nothing I plug in gets recognized or shows up in device manager. The card reader works fine and any ultrabay devices work fine as long as they're in before powering on.

The trackpoint not working is odd since I thought it was connected to the keyboard, which is working as normal.

I reseated my CMOS battery as that worked for a problem I had before, and reconnected both the touchpad and the keyboard. Updated to the latest BIOS and that didn't work either.

Not sure what's going on here. Googling leads me to believe I have a faulty motherboard/power supply. How do I figure out what it is?

! Me too. I also have problems with Trackpoint. I checked the BIOS, Driver Ultra Nav everything is normal. But my Trackpoint still inoperable. The picture shows trackpoint not recognized. I think my mainboar faulty

P/S: I used ThinkPad T420
