thinking about buying a t410 with nVidia, do these have the switchable graphics? intel graphics/nVidia

any issues i should look out for? do the usb ports break easily? I seen a few t400 with broken usb ports.

how well does the switchable graphics work on Ubuntu? any Linux issues?

would the Intel graphics be able to handle KDE with all effects set up, compiz, with a lot of settings on? without slow down? what about videos? on a wxga+ screen

thanks

If Linux is all that you're going to run on that T410, you're better off with an Intel-only machine IMO.

On-board sound is lousy, fan can get noisy, but overall T410 is a pretty solid offering IMO. One of my favourite Lenovo-era ThinkPads.
