T410 needs a 90-watt adapter if you have NVidia graphics. You can use either if you have Intel graphics. As far as eBay adapters, if they don't say original, or OEM you should assume they are fakes. Many of the fakes are junk. They often fail and some have solid core wire (instead of stranded) in the cord from the laptop to the adapter. The solid wire cracks VERY quickly

Do NOT buy a generic (Chinese) replacement power adapter/charger. I made the mistake of buying one for my X200s (65 W) and it was very poor: overheating, made a crackling noise like it was sparking/short circuiting internally. I suspect that the CE / RoHS markings on it were not legitimate. I kept the 3-pin UK lead and put the transformer part in electronics recycling.

My recommendation as a budget buy is to look for a second hand genuine and original Lenovo or IBM charger and only buy from your country, ensure the seller provides a photo of the actual item and confirms the FRU, wattage and voltage. There is reasonable availability of these as people sell off their chargers if they break/lose the laptop it belonged to and then switch brands. If you buy an import it could be a fake, which is then as bad as a Chinese generic. That's what I did second time round, and in the UK these sell for just above £10 including postage.
