Hello,
I would like to use my t410 as a survivelance station when needed, but I have to disable all possible signals of the webcam activity. Is it possible? I would like to disable webcam light when I start video stream from it.

I suggest black tape over the hole. (a non-technical solution)

A technical solution and one that can't be otherwise circumvented by software or undone by the unsuspecting target(s): Open up the system, find the LED and unsolder it.

I have never tested whether removing the LED will make the camera not work. The camera temporarily receives power during post and the light flashes. The camera is sensed as a USB device and it is possible that removing the LED so that there is an open circuit, might be interpreted as "no camera installed". I am not saying this is true, but that I don't know without trying it.
