T530 Whitish screen edges

Hi,

I am a happy owner of T530. I've been using it for over a year and had no problems with it until now.

A couple of months ago I bought a stationary PC and since it had a 27" monitor I would simply use my T530 remotely, instead of breaking my eyes on 15" (it's a FullHD panel). The laptop is pretty cool and with the TPFanControl I was able to leave it on 24/7 without disturbing me in my sleep (the lid was closed for approximately a month).

Today I am moving to a new flat and decided to power off my laptop. I open the lid, log in, and see this at the edges of the whole screen (evenly spread). The background is solid gray (that's the color it's most visible on). What could be the reason for this? Aren't LCDs (and LEDs behind it) heat-tolerant?

After using the laptop for half an hour, these stripes became a bit dimmer, but I'm still afraid they won't disappear. I'll leave the lid open for several hours, to see if they go away; in case they do - I'll report back.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated. Maybe someone experienced something similar in the past?

UPD: Okay, the lines are almost gone now, but if I look closely, I can still see them on dark backgrounds.
