Hi All,

I'm new to the forum (posting) but have been a long time viewer and have found some really useful stuff on here re: my T42 and X300.

I'm looking to replace my gradually dying T42 (and I will miss it!) with a T410. I'm looking at a machine and the seller has given me a model no. of 2522-AT5. Cross referencing this to the serial no. on the Lenovo Support site shows this model no. to be correct, but I can find no details at all on this model in the Lenovo documentation.

The "Withdrawn V435" doc from April 2013 covering from 2005 on has many "2522" T410s, but not this one.

Can anyone help me on the specs?

Thanks in advance.

Duncan

Welcome to the forum!

Here's that T410:
ThinkPad T410 (2522-AT5)
i5-520M(2.4GHz), 2GB RAM, 160GB 7200rpm HD, 14.1in 1280x800 LCD, 256MB nVIDIA Quadro NVS 3100M, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11agn, WWAN option, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ether, UltraNav, Sec Chip, FPR, Camera, 6c Li-Ion, Win7 Pro 32
Decent specs apart from the LCD, but that's just my opinion.

Happy shopping.

Yes, shame about the screen, but I could possibly live with that at the price on offer.

Thanks for your help.

Well I landed the machine for GBP312. It is unused/NOS and in warranty until 05/14.

A bit of a bargain I think!

I don't know the prices in the UK, but neither of my T410 units were paid over $200 and were under on-site warranty at the time...

If it's really in sealed Lenovo box (which the terms "unused" and "NOS" would imply), then you did quite well and the laptop should serve you for quite some time with no major issues.

I wouldn't consider it a horrible price, it's still cheaper for performance than any other new laptop of the price.

I personally got my T410 for $220 USD which is almost identical to that except I added my own WWAN card and mine has the 1440x900 screen. The screen shouldn't be too hard to swap anyways, should you want to do so.
