T400 and OCZ Agility 3 - error 2100

I see a thread on this in the T61 thread and on the official lenovo forums, they talk about firmware upgrades fixing the error 2100 message. However, there does not seem to be a fix for the OCZ at this time.
Looks like the complaints are about older generation OCZ ssd drives.
My situation
Working
=> Kingston hyperX 128gb ssd + T400
decided to swap a drive / downgrade
=> OCZ Agility 3 60gb + T400
=> results in either the drive being detected intermittently with bluescreen or with a reboot and a error 2100 showing up.
- the drive is recognized in bios but not by windows.
Agility 3 firmware & T400 firmware is updated to latest.
So... adding to the knowledge base
As of Oct 2013; the OCZ Agility 3 + T400 is still not stably compatible.
The Kingston HyperX drive is rock solid though.
The official forums speculate it might be a connector problem

which i somewhat agree; but even with me holding the drive to the connector; it's unstable so with so many excellent choices out there; my warning here is that you should STILL avoid older generation OCZ ssd and the T400.
Looks like lenovo has fixed this error 2100 with a fair number of other models via firmware.

But still no comment on the ocz.
